Video Editor Needed for High-Converting Ads
We're seeking an elite video editor who understands direct response mechanics and can produce scroll-stopping ads at scale. Your work will directly drive sales across multiple platforms, with immediate feedback from millions of impressions monthly.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in editing for DTC/eCommerce brands, specifically in the beauty and health industries. They must possess expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, as well as After Effects. Additionally, they should be able to think critically and recommend new approaches, ad formats, and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transform raw creator footage, UGC clips, and b-roll into persuasive short-form ads (15-90 seconds) and VSLs that convert cold traffic into buyers.
* Craft hooks that stop thumbs in the first 3 seconds, using pattern interrupts, bold claims, and visual glitches.
* Deploy engagement disruptors, such as kinetic typography, callout graphics, progress bars, and emoji reactions.
* Optimize pacing for platform algorithms, including Meta 9:16 and YouTube Shorts.
* A/B test visual approaches based on performance data.
Requirements:
* Strong level of fluent English fluency.
* 2+ years editing experience for DTC/eCommerce brands, with a focus on beauty and health.
* Portfolio demonstrating direct response ads that drove conversions.
* Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, as well as After Effects.
* Deep understanding of Meta/YouTube Shorts specs and algorithm-friendly editing patterns.
* Native fluency with UGC aesthetics (raw, authentic, relatable) vs. polished brand content.
* Proven ability to produce 8-12 ads per week without compromising quality.
* Ability to think critically and recommend new approaches, ad formats, and tools.
