Job Purpose and Impact
The Technical Application Specialist position enables the local business within Europe to enhance its commercial growth agenda on poultry products, concepts and services as part of the overall portfolio that is being offered to our customers. The person in this role is responsible to create strong connection with our local customers, continuously improve technical skills of our team and successfully implement new Poultry (Broiler and Layer) concepts with our key customers. On this role also you will be responsible for a deliver upon local species budget.

Provide commercial prospecting and anticipate technological developments (product, concept or service launches) according the launching plans for the local business in close cooperation with our local commercial teams and our marketing function Oversee individual technology project budgets within your scope of responsibility. Seek solutions to issues using deep knowledge in one or more field and wide knowledge across multiple specialties. Identify and provide technical support to strategic customers with priority in the country or region. Visiting customers on a regular base in close cooperation with our sales team to implement technology and get feedback from the field. Roll out training & best practice sharing in the local business to make sure all relevant team members have the necessary knowledge to successfully position our Poultry portfolio. Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Available to travel 45% to 50% Ability to work in a multicultural environment Strong analytical and conceptual skills Related work experience and background in poultry nutrition and poultry production
Preferred Qualifications Ability to work in a commercial environment Excellent communication / team skills Technical know-how on Poultry production management detailed on farm nutrition and management experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; oral and written Demonstrated success in project and product management Experience with customer support Experience in nutritional concept development
