Impact You Will Have
Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use‑case prioritization and building technical champions.
Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third‑party applications.
Operate as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
Contribute to technical community engagement by developing customer‑facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet‑ups.
Opportunity to continue development in one of four tracks – technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, and people management.
What We Look For
7+ years of customer‑facing technical experience.
Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and the sales lifecycle in a technical pre‑sales capacity.
Ability to influence decision‑makers and C‑level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams for long‑term customer success.
Prior experience coding in a core programming language (Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
Hands‑on expertise with complex proofs‑of‑concept and public cloud platform(s).
Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
Can travel up to 30% when needed.
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role are listed below and represent the expected salary range for non‑commissionable roles or on‑target earnings for commissionable roles.
Zone 1 Pay Range: $196,200 — $274,650 USD
Zone 2 Pay Range: $196,200 — $274,650 USD
Zone 3 Pay Range: $196,200 — $274,650 USD
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including job‑related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. The total compensation package may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
