MISSION
Lead and transform site manufacturing activities by strategically managing resources and people to maximize performance across cost, quality, productivity, service levels, safety, and environmental sustainability. As a key executive leader, you will define and implement the strategic direction for the manufacturing unit, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence aligned with global company needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Development & Vision
* Determine the short, medium, and long-term strategic direction for the manufacturing site, focusing on people, processes, and management methods to drive efficiency and profitability.
* Connect the site’s vision to the organizational culture through a Compelling Business Need (CBN).
* Direct and restructure the manufacturing unit's strategic alignment to optimize resources and processes.
Operational Excellence & Management Systems
* Guarantee the systematic implementation of a Manufacturing Management System based on Lean 6 Sigma and TPM methodologies.
* Establish a high-performance culture centered on safety, quality, results, process control, and standardization.
* Implement and oversee a robust maintenance management system to ensure equipment reliability, availability, and cost evolution.
* Manage the site performance through KPIs deployed at the operational level, ensuring regular monitoring (daily, monthly, annually) and corrective actions for any deviations.
Financial Stewardship & Innovation
* Elaborate and manage the area budget using Zero-Based Budgeting (OBZ) principles to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
* Lead CAPEX and replacement management for the manufacturing unit, ensuring investments align with Industry 4.0 concepts and basic condition restoration.
* Support innovation processes and cost-reduction projects by ensuring feasibility and resource availability within planned timelines.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
* Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering engagement, accountability, and high performance.
* Form a high-performance team through a structured Skills Matrix aligned with the company’s long-term objectives.
* Build a solid succession plan and provide continuous feedback to develop leadership and technical competencies.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Higher education degree with a mandatory Post-Graduate or MBA specialization.
* Experience: Minimum of 9+ years of proven experience in large-scale industrial environments.
* Advanced English is required for frequent interaction with global teams.
* Deep knowledge in TPM, Lean 6 Sigma, Maintenance Management, and Industrial Cost Management.
* Advanced proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Must be able to work 100% On-site in Senador Canedo / GO, Brazil.
