**Strategy & Projects**
- Regional deployment of related parts connected to the IT & Digital Strategy
- Developing, maintaining, and reporting KPIs for the regional IT group
- Managing regional projects in terms of time, scope & budget
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Defining local policies, processes, and procedures where needed and in alignment with Group IT
- Giving input to IT strategy, policies, and procedures, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements based on regional needs
Budget
- Responsible for resource and budget planning in the assigned area
Day
- to-day operations
- Handling day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
- Planning and executing IT projects in an organized and effective manner, and reporting on progress and deliverables to Group IT
- Building relationship with key business stakeholders to understand
strategic direction and support operational needs
- Monitoring of service quality and escalation path for issues in regional IT
- Handling of reginal/local IT procurement tasks, in line with Group agreements
Job specific accountabilities
- Ensuring and further developing service operations, especially onsite support
- Managing the performance of the service staff, the infrastructure team (incl.
security, local procurement), and local admins within the assigned region in order to achieve the appropriate quality of service for business customers (enhance user experience)
- Ensuring the correctness and availability of current documentation
- Acting as the escalation manager for incidents and problems
**Seu perfil**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- A minimum of 7-10 years practical experience in the areas of IT infrastructure, Service Desk Operations, and/or IT administration, ideally in manufacturing or process industry
- Experience working in a global matrix environment
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing teams and individuals
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administrations, or a similar field.
A Master's Degree is advantageous
- A proven track record of growing and developing an IT organization with focus on improving user experience
- The drive and willingness to change processes and to work with people in order to pursue continuous improvement
Language:
- English: Fluently
- Portuguese: Fluently
- Second language (Spanish, German) preferred
**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS**:
- Knowledge of the life science/chemical sector, especially in the flavors and fragrances area
- A good understanding of IT organizations, strategy, objectives and operating models
- Change management skills (including communication and training) in large scale IT transformation projects
- IT project management skills, incl.
agile
- Local statutory law requirements (electronic invoicing, etc.)
