Join to apply for the Supply Chain Director Brazil role at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.The Supply Chain Director role may be based in either São Paulo or Uberaba. For the first 18 months, you will be required to work from Uberaba for at least two weeks each month. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days per week in the office or warehouse, and travel to the warehouses in Uberaba, MG, and Louveira, SP as needed.What You’ll DoOversee all supply chain activities for our Brazil operations, including warehousing, distribution, inbound and outbound transportation, import/export, customer service, demand planning, supply planning, and the entire customer order flow.Collaborate with sales and other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes (e.g., customer sales, order management, accounting, and shipping).Lead the S&OP process for Brazil, ensure robust forecasting, and work with regional planning to achieve inventory and service level targets.Prepare, present, and explain annual budgets for distribution and transportation costs; coordinate with regional planning on inventory budgets and monthly estimates.Oversee product planning to optimize service levels and inventory to meet working capital goals.Monitor service levels, fill rates, inventory turns, excess, and obsolescence; take proactive actions to meet targets.Prepare performance scorecards, explain results, and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.Visit customers to understand market trends and incorporate local country knowledge into supply chain processes.Direct distribution center operations to meet cost, productivity, safety, and timing goals.Direct warehouse activities, shipments, and materials management, including capacity planning to meet customer and sales requirements, safety, and logistics quality management.Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, including freight forwarders contracts, foreign trade and customs agents, and ocean/air/ground transportation.Monitor import/export processes for regulatory and legal compliance; define cost-effective freight options; communicate transportation information to customers or suppliers; optimize transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures for product transit or delivery.Ensure compliance with security, environmental, health and safety, and business regulations.Lead projects to improve, expand capacity, and gain operational efficiencies.Coach, mentor, and supervise the Supply Chain team; build a robust team and create backups for key positions.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal functions (sales, marketing, finance, HR, etc.).Who You AreEngineering, Business Administration or related field Bachelor’s Degree; MBA is a plus.APICS CSCP or CPIM certification and SCOR experience are a plus.Minimum of 15 years of supply chain experience, including warehousing, distribution, import/export, demand and supply planning, customer service, and S&OP management; procurement experience preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience managing successful supply chain teams.Experience managing MPS, MRP, DRP, CRP, WMS, and TMS.Proven track record in Lean Logistics, Six Sigma, Kanban, and Pull Systems.Solid experience in S&OP/IBP processes and in running distribution centers with international transportation and different inbound/outbound logistics.What You’ll ReceiveCompetitive salary and benefits plan.Discounts on Stanley Black & Decker tools and partner programs.Company OverviewJoining the Stanley Black & Decker team means working in an innovative, tech-driven and highly collaborative environment supported by over 58,000 professionals in 60 countries.
