Description:
We are seeking a Jira System Administrator to optimize Jira usage for our DevOps processes and automate workflows between Development and QA teams. This role will also help standardize improvements across other teams using Jira.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer, configure, and maintain Jira instances for optimal performance.
* Implement and manage workflow automation between Dev and QA to improve operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to define and execute Jira process improvements.
* Support system enhancements, plugins, and integration updates.
* Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and custom filters to support team tracking and performance.
* Propagate process improvements and best practices across other Jira teams as needed.
* Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support for Jira.
Qualifications:
* 3–5 years of experience as a Jira Administrator or similar role.
* Strong understanding of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
* Hands-on experience with workflow design, automation rules, and permission schemes.
* Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD pipelines preferred).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
