We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Engineer to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and operation of Advanced Process Control systems. This includes routine monitoring, troubleshooting, direct communication with process engineers and panel operators, evaluating the performance of soft sensors, and reporting to relevant stakeholders about APC performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation, optimization, and maintenance of APCs
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues affecting APC performance
* Providing training and support to operators and other interested parties
* Data analysis using Excel or other applications
* SUPPORTING SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE UPGRADES RELATING TO APC EQUIPMENT

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
* Advanced Process Control (APC) Certification from recognized institutions or organizations offering specialized training in APC technologies and methodologies preferred
* 3+ years experience with OSIsoft PI Historian for real-time data acquisition, storage, analysis, and visualization in an industrial or process control environment required
* 5+ years experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, ESVT/EST, Honeywell TPS / TDC3000 required
* Process controllers: C300, C200, HPM, APM
* All variety of third-party PLC/devices integration to DCS
* Industrial Communication: Modbus RTU & Modbus TCP/IP, Serial Communication RS 485, RS 422, RS 232
* Networking Skills: Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE), Ethernet
* Configure and Administer Windows domain (Experion and TPS Domains)
* OPC connectivity between Process control servers and other 3rd party servers
* MS Excel-macro based tools
* Experience configuring, implementing and trouble-shooting process control schemes in Honeywell TDC3000 (basic control algorithms and CL/AM code/PMX(basic control algorithms
