Project Lead - Automotive UX Study
We are seeking a highly skilled project lead to oversee the successful execution of an automotive UX study in São Paulo. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical toolkit, on-the-ground research experience, and exceptional organizational skills.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a bilingual project-management pro to lead a fast-moving UX study in the automotive domain. As a project lead, you will be responsible for orchestrating day-to-day study operations, assisting in moderating in-vehicle research sessions with local drivers, and providing light device/IT support to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management & Coordination
* Build and own the project plan – timelines, budget, participant milestones – working closely with the UX Research Lead.
* Run stand-ups with distributed teammates (US, Brazil, India).
* Field & Research Execution
* Moderate ~2 weeks of in-vehicle sessions in São Paulo, guiding participants through tasks and capturing high-quality data.
* Translate consent forms, short surveys, and session notes between Portuguese and English.
* Technical & Logistics Support
* Prep, track, and recover equipment used to execute study.
* Troubleshoot participant hardware, connectivity, and account issues; escalate edge-case bugs to engineering via JIRA.
* Document and iterate on SOPs, and data ingestion for future Brazil-based studies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3+ years in project coordination, research operations, UX research, or similar.
* Native-level Portuguese and professional-level English (spoken & written).
* Comfort diagnosing common hardware/connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Android/iOS devices, Bluetooth peripherals).
* Familiarity with Google Workspace, project-management suite (Asana/JIRA), basic spreadsheets.
* Exceptional organization, proactive communication, unflappable in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
