Airswift is seeking an Offshore Project Engineer to work in a contractor position in Macaé (Offshore) with an oil and gas company.Contract: 6 months with strong possibility of renewal.The Offshore Project Engineer will be responsible for representing and supporting Topsides' projects on-site. He/she will act as a liaison between the offshore project development team and the onshore engineering team for proper project development and implementation.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate Project offshore missions.Support Planning team in POB requests and approvals.Support with documentation update and register.Participate on HAZID and HAZOP meetings with a multidisciplinary team.Support managerial team in project risk assessment.Execute site surveys and scope alignments with offshore team.Responsible to gathering offshore data to avoid project execution struggling.Support Project Manager and Lead in planning project priorities and risk for offshore implementation.Perform regular project review with project team members.Ensure the projects are highly aligned with asset plans and activities.Open and Control projects' MOCs (Management of Changing) to guarantee proper actions execution and closure.Follow-up various site initiative project / activitiesSupport on vendors site surveys and their scope completion.Suggest project improvements for designing to improve offshore execution.Participation in Project Design review as main focal point for offshore needs.Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.Overall control of project schedulePrepare close-out report and lesson learnt sessions for all work executed offshore.Ensures accurate reporting of activities..Promote HSEQ awareness of workforce and contractors and ensure that HSE is given the highest priority.Listen to, evaluate any project team member's concerns; ensure that potential failures, weaknesses, and hazards are immediately addressed and reported.Conduct alignment sessions for project management team members with respect to objectives.Support vendors during offshore execution to reduce teams' downtime.Support with PTW (Permission to Work) creation and approval.Align and support with deck supervision the offshore material delivery.Evaluate processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvementJob QualificationsStrong experience in the oil and gas industry.Experience on offshore platforms required – not fully offshore work required, but significant offshore experience is required.Advanced English - RequiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.Project Management Skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Project.Familiarity with SAP software is highly valued.About AirswiftAirswift serves as a strategic partner to our clients in STEM industries.
