Salesforce Developer Role Description
We seek a talented Salesforce Developer to design and develop world-class Salesforce applications that meet our evolving CRM requirements. As a skilled developer, you will create customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, analyzing project objectives and crafting customer workflows. You will also troubleshoot errors and ensure the success of the application.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Develop innovative tools and services on the Salesforce platform tailored to labor resource management, payroll, and human resources.
* Create custom interfaces, advanced workflows, and technical elements within Salesforce to enhance the user experience.
* Provide training to junior developers and manage their growth as engineers.
* Analyze business processes and translate them into efficient Salesforce implementations using Flows, Apex, LWC, and relevant APIs.
* Assist with integrations involving third-party APIs and implementation.
* Take ownership of issues through resolution, including troubleshooting, driving internal communication with stakeholders, and gathering feedback to improve technical solutions.
* Liaise with internal teams on technical challenges and help guide product roadmap changes/new features.
* Support a culture of collaboration, respect, engineering excellence, and regular delivery of customer value.
* Analyze complex business and technical requirements to guide solution design and delivery.
* Enhance existing architecture and optimize performance for scale using best practices and industry standards.
* Manage and complete Salesforce development deliverables while balancing multiple in-flight stories and initiatives.
* Establish best practices for code reviews, documentation, and the Salesforce development life cycle.
Essential Skills:
* Experience in programmatic development of Salesforce applications using Apex.
* Experience working on a development team in a highly customized Salesforce environment and familiarity with various Salesforce clouds.
* Highly experienced with Lightning (Aura and Lightning Web Components), Visualforce, REST and SOAP APIs, and Web Services.
* Non-Salesforce ecosystem development experience is a plus.
* Architect-level experience is preferred but not required.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
