We are hiring an experienced Pega Developer to drive digital transformation initiatives across public sector programs.
This role sits at the core of mission-critical modernization efforts, combining deep technical expertise in Pega with system integration, workflow design, and scalable architecture. You will design and deliver secure, high-performance case management solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery for government agencies.
You will transform complex business requirements into robust Pega applications — integrating enterprise systems, modernizing legacy environments, and ensuring compliance with public sector standards. This person acts as a key technical partner to Architects, Business Analysts, QA, and Delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement applications using the Pega Platform
* Configure case types, workflows, user interfaces, data models, and business rules
* Develop and test integrations using REST and SOAP APIs with enterprise and legacy systems
* Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery
* Execute unit, system, and integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Participate in deployment planning, release management, and production support
* Ensure compliance with public sector security and accessibility standards
* Document technical specifications, configurations, and testing procedures
Required Experience & Skills:
* 3+ years of experience in Pega application development
* Experience working across full SDLC implementations
* Strong knowledge of system integrations, APIs, and data management
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Advanced English (written and spoken)
* Pega Certification (CSA, CSSA, or LSA)
Nice to have:
* Experience with Federal or State/Local government projects
* Familiarity with security and compliance standards
