The position reports to the CFO and is responsible for controlling and reporting on financials, ensuring accuracy and ownership of the numbers. The Controller must have a clear understanding of both internal and board-level reporting requirements. Additionally, they will serve as the primary representative for all administrative matters, establishing and enforcing proper processes and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.Major ResponsibilitiesThe Controller serves in multiple facets in the organization. Major responsibilities can be summarized and include the following:Monthly ReportingMonthly Internal Reporting PackageAnnual BudgetingYear End Reporting (for insurance, tax firm, and internal)Group Company Reporting NeedsRequested real-time reports needed by CFOReconciliationsUpdate the iRely system for services, licensing, etc.Manage multiple admin offices in our primary offices.Manage up to 8 direct reports (Payroll, AR/AP, Reporting)Ensure, establish and enforce consistency and adherence to company policy/practiceWork with other leaders in the org to ensure the iRely system is supporting each role properly.Weekly meetings with direct reportsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or accounting.Minimum 3 to 7 years in Accounting and FinancialsMinimum 3 years performing in controller type positionManaging, hiring, training responsibilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working both as an individual and leading a teamStrong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of accounting principlesExcellent interpersonal acumen and executive presence, including written, verbal, and presentation skills; exceptional critical thinking ability to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and develop systemic solutionsProven experience in developing and leading high-performing global teams and cross-functional initiatives; strong digital acumen related to accounting, financial reporting processes, and automation technologies.Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and applying mathematical concepts to real-world business scenarios.Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, and financial management software for accurate reporting and data analysis.Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.What We OfferWe offer exceptional compensation package, benefits, 401K matching and more!Why Choose Us?At iRely, we empower our team members to lead with innovation and consistently exceed customer expectations.
