We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our team. The role will involve delivering hands-on technical support for local infrastructure, end-users, and critical systems.
The successful candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, continuity of services, and timely resolution of incidents. They will also perform monitoring and maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide on-site support for resolving technical incidents related to infrastructure, systems, and end-user devices.
* Perform monitoring and maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability.
* Deliver desktop and user support for local staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
* Conduct preventive maintenance activities such as security checks, system health checks, and patch updates.
* Coordinate critical service requests with remote teams and external vendors as needed.
* Escalate complex incidents to higher-level support teams and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

Requirements

* Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networking fundamentals, hardware, and peripherals.
* Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and incident management processes.
* Ability to perform preventive maintenance and basic security checks.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
* Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, Microsoft, or CCNA are a plus.
