Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination related to front-line operations, which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.Lead or senior levels of these positions may include:Handling escalated or more complex issues,Coordinating team activities or those of agency contract staff,Supporting supervisor or manager activities,Supporting the design, review, and implementation of processes and procedures.General Job DescriptionReceipt, release, and shipment of cargo;Supporting the definition, review, implementation, and improvement of organizational processes, operational flows, and performance indicators;Issuing reports on loads in the warehouse and en route of vendor drivers, with daily accountability for operational activities;Supporting coordination of operational team activities (Handlers);Monitoring vendor drivers' activities;Handling pending issues and returns;Monitoring indicators and providing reports to management and external customers, including participation in meetings;Performing other duties as assigned.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent; proficiency in English;Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.ExperienceOne (1) year of clerical experience.SkillsData entry and office skills;Good interpersonal and communication skills;Clear speaking voice;Accuracy and attention to detail;Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;Good planning and organizational skills;Problem-solving skills;Basic knowledge of monitoring, analysis, and customer service;Dynamic and creative approach.FedEx is recognized as a world-class company, consistently ranked among the best places to work and admired brands globally.
