Our initiative involves electricians participating in a research project that uses wearable cameras to capture daily activities.
The goal is to create AI models that understand complex activities by analyzing the footage captured over 5 days within a 2-week period.
Responsibilities include wearing a head-mounted camera, recording at least 7 hours per day with flexibility to take breaks and pause the camera for privacy, and uploading footage for review and deletion or consent purposes.
Household Requirements:
 * No children under 18 should be present or visiting during the recording period.
 * All adults must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded.
 * The participant's home should be a private apartment or indoor work environment.
 * All household members must agree to appear in the footage.
Participant Requirements:
 * Work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or child care).
 * Participants sharing a workplace or household should both wear a GoPro.
 * Preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, baker, artist, carpenter, musician, electrician, mechanic).
 * Must be self-employed or have employer consent to record in the work environment.
 * Able to use a computer for basic tasks such as reviewing and uploading video clips.
Technical Requirements:
 * Access to a computer and internet connection.
 * Comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing clips (training provided).
 * GoPro camera and accessories provided for the project duration.
