About the Position
A dynamic Public Relations & Social Media Specialist is sought after to lead media outreach, social content strategy, and brand reputation management across our diverse product lines. This role plays a central part in crafting compelling narratives, securing earned media coverage, creating engaging content, managing community engagement, and driving awareness for consumer products.
Key Responsibilities
* Crafting press releases for product launches, partnerships, and company milestones.
* Pitching journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure earned media coverage.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with media contacts.
* Identifying timely PR opportunities across product categories.
* Maintaining industry trends and media coverage to inform outreach strategies.
Brand Reputation & Crisis Management
* Tracking brand sentiment across media, social platforms, and app stores.
* Leading crisis communication and rapid-response strategies when needed.
* Collaborating with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues or harmful content.
* Encouraging positive user reviews and managing feedback loops across platforms.
Social Media Management, Content Creation & Influencer Outreach
* Managing day-to-day social media posting for multiple products, including content calendar management.
* Designing engaging graphics, writing compelling copy, and producing short-form videos.
* Creating and editing YouTube videos, including tutorials, promos, and brand storytelling content.
* Responding to comments and DMs across platforms to build and maintain community engagement.
* Measuring performance (KPIs, engagement, growth) and optimizing content strategy.
* Identifying, recruiting, and managing influencer and creator partnerships.
* Planning influencer campaigns aligned with product and brand goals, and tracking results.
Internal & External Communications
* Drafting and sharing company announcements, leadership content, and blog posts.
* Keeping internal channels updated with press releases, media coverage, and key milestones.
* Crafting messaging for executive interviews, public speaking, and media appearances.
* Ensuring consistency and brand alignment in all public-facing communications.
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in PR, communications, media relations, or brand marketing.
* Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
* Strong English proficiency and storytelling skills across formats.
* Proven ability to secure media coverage and build press relationships.
* Solid understanding of brand reputation management and crisis comms.
* Experience with influencer discovery, collaboration, and campaign execution.
* Experience creating and editing YouTube videos (product walkthroughs, educational content, social video).
* Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
* SEO and ASO understanding.
* Experience with mobile apps or tech brands.
* Strong analytical skills for social and PR performance reporting.
