Business/Function Analyst Role
The IT Business/Functional Analyst plays a critical role in bridging business needs with technological solutions. The primary function is to analyze and interpret business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Requirements Analysis and Specification: Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications for the development team.
* Solution Design and Testing: Collaborate with developers and system architects to design solutions that meet business needs, develop and execute test plans, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Stakeholder Management and Leadership: Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, lead and coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
* Risk Management and Budgeting: Identify and mitigate risks in technology projects, assist in managing project budgets, and ensure the use of resources in a cost-effective manner.
* Documentation and Support: Create comprehensive user documentation and training materials, provide ongoing technical support for implemented solutions.
* Continuous Improvement: Analyze and resolve system problems and incidents, participate in change management to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.
