Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced LATAM Sales Manager to drive business growth across Latin America, focusing on pathology automation instruments and IHC reagents.
This role combines direct sales, distributor management, and market development, with strong autonomy and regional responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies for pathology products (IHC instruments & reagents) across LATAM
Identify, appoint, and manage local distributors and strategic partners
Drive instrument placements, reagent pull-through, and long-term account growth
Support distributors with product training, demos, and key customer visits
Represent the company at regional exhibitions, pathology congresses, and customer events
Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and distributor agreements
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory landscape
Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for assigned territories
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience in pathology diagnostics, IHC, histopathology, or related life-science fields
Strong understanding of pathology lab workflows (IHC staining, automation, reagents)
Proven experience managing LATAM distributors or key accounts
Familiar with global pathology brands (e.G. Leica, Roche, Dako product)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Fluent in Spanish (Portuguese is a strong plus);
working English required
Willingness to travel frequently within Latin America
Preferred Background
Experience selling automated IHC stainers or reagent-rental models
Existing network with pathology labs, hospitals, or reference laboratories
Experience working with international manufacturers
