Function
Would you like to join our dynamic team as a Team Leader in our warehouse in Desteldonk? Your experience will be essential in ensuring the success of our operations.
As an experienced Team Leader, you are able to set priorities effectively, even in a fast-paced environment. You are familiar with flexible planning and working with changing teams, as we regularly welcome additional colleagues through our on-call system.
Your Role
As Team Leader, you are responsible for the optimal functioning of your department. You play a key role in increasing productivity and efficiency while coaching and developing your team.
Your responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the optimal performance of the department in Desteldonk;
* Improving productivity and operational efficiency;
* Creating and following up on daily work schedules;
* Providing internal training and onboarding for new employees;
* Identifying improvement opportunities in team processes;
* Motivating and coaching team members;
* Solving operational issues and supporting employees with advice;
* Supporting the implementation of HR policies;
* Reporting to the Supervisor;
* Taking over tasks during the Supervisor's absence;
* Actively contributing to our continuous improvement methodology.
Profile
* Solid knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations;
* Experience in leading warehouse employees;
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude;
* Experience working with logistics processes;
* Excellent command of Dutch or English, both spoken and written;
* Flexible, stress-resistant, and people-oriented;
* Willing to start in a day shift and later move to a fixed shift system;
* Key competencies: improvement-oriented, team player, coach.
