**Global Markets Technology group searches for Technology Application Developer**
**Responsibilities**
Validate business use-cases in the form of POCs (Creativity is always a plus);
- Remain current on technology trends to keep our software as innovative as possible;
- Responsible for estimating, planning and managing tasks as part an AGILE team;
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment with the organization’s goals, as well as customer needs;
- Participates with management discussions in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area;
- Provide clear and concise documentation for both developers and user audiences;
**Core skills and requirements**
- Degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar;
- Fluency in English (written and spoken);
- Ability to code in at least one programming language (Python or Javascript (React, Nodejs));
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
- Familiar with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes;
- Web service APIs (e.g.: RESTful and GraphQL);
- Connectivity protocols for streaming financial data (Websockets/Subscriptions);
- Code versioning with Git or similar tools like SVN and Mercurial;
- Proficiency with project tracking software, such as JIRA
- Able to work on multiple operating systems: Linux (Bash) and Windows (CMD / PowerShell);
- Good background of infrastructure disciplines (Network, Servers, Storage, Messaging Queues);
- Intellectually curious, collaborative, eager to take on new challenges, ready to take ownership of your work, and a natural problem solver;
- Experience working in a high pressure work environment;
- Excellent coding, client-relationship, problem-solving, analytical-thinking and communication skills;
- Desire to understand the financial industry is crucial;
- Ability to effectively interface with technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels.
- Strong Analytical/Troubleshooting skills (isolate components and identify root causes);
- Must be a problem solver, work collaboratively and positive attitude facing stressful situations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to write concise and clear reports in Portuguese and English;
