Senior Commodities and Equity Derivatives Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the onboarding of Commodities Asset class to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.
The selected individual will be responsible for resolving daily issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing on the Front-Office platform. They will also work closely with traders to address issues stemming from the Equity Derivatives desk.
Key responsibilities include:
* Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
* Resolve daily issues stemming from FO Equity Derivatives desk
* Work closely and address issues from EQD Desk Traders (L3)
* Ammend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations
* Resolve request or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
* Analyse, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables
* Liaise with technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements
* Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
* Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation
To succeed in this role, the candidate should possess strong product knowledge in EQD, COM and have a very strong understanding of FX, IRD business. They should also have hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.
Additionally, the successful candidate should have:
* Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues
* 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities
* 4+ years experience in financial markets role
* SQL proficiency
* Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
* Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills
* Must have strong organization skills
