Position Overview
Netrix Global is looking for a Data Engineer in the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department. The Data Engineer is a critical member of the data science team, researching, building, and designing artificial intelligence responsible for machine learning, and maintaining and improving existing AI systems.
Often a Machine Learning Engineer serves as a critical communicator between data scientists who develop models and the people who construct and run them.

How You Will Make An Impact
Identifying, creating, and preparing data required for modern data solutions and AI.
Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations.
Designing, building and managing Datalake architectures.
Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc).
Integrating and testing data solutions.
Creating and documenting tests to meet requirements.
Working with big data environments.
Managing cloud data services, data access, security and data governance.
Analyzing and preparing data for machine learning workloads.
Managing monitoring and logs of applications and services.
What You Will Bring To The Table
Experience in Data Engineer/Architect role focused on ETL, data preparation & ingestion, data streaming.
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) for at least 2 years.
Knowledge of Python, R or other data processing tools.
Intermediate / upper English level.
Experience with Apache Spark.
Experience using AWS or Microsoft data services: S3, Glue, Athena, SageMaker, etc.
Experience with DevOps tools (Git, pipelines).
Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Location
Argentina (any part of the country is great for us!)
Shift
9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.
