**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Windows System Administrator to join our IT operations team during the overnight shift.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Windows environments, troubleshooting system and network issues, and administering core Microsoft infrastructure services.
* Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group administration, OU structure, and permissions.
* Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows-based services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
* Perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues related to authentication and system performance.
* Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues within a Windows environment.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
* Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
**Requirements**
* Proven Experience:** Proven experience in Windows system administration.
* Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services.
* Proficiency:** Proficiency in managing DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
* Troubleshooting Skills:** Solid troubleshooting skills for authentication and performance issues in Windows environments.
* Networking Basics:** Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and IP subnetting.
* Independence:** Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
* Communication:** Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Certifications:** Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MSCE).
* Remote Support Tools:** Experience with remote desktop support tools.
* Familiarity with Scripting:** Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell is a plus).
