Blockchain Engineering Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blockchain Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of software engineers. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our blockchain development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy and Planning
o Lead, coach, and mentor engineers across multiple technical domains, ensuring seamless collaboration and growth.
o Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and innovation.
o Support career growth, performance management, and professional development, driving employee satisfaction and retention.
o Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and building a diverse, high-performing team, promoting inclusivity and diversity.
2. Execution and Delivery
o Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely releases and delivery.
o Partner with the CTO and Product Manager to translate product roadmaps into engineering execution plans, driving alignment and success.
o Manage delivery timelines, resources, and technical dependencies, proactively identifying and removing blockers to ensure team productivity and efficiency.
o Stay current with emerging blockchain technologies, protocols, and DeFi developments, guiding innovation and continuous improvement.
3. Performance and Improvement
o Establish and enforce engineering best practices across code quality, smart contract security, and infrastructure reliability, maintaining high standards.
o Ensure scalability, security, and performance in blockchain and microservice-based environments, driving business value.
o Drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices (IaC, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, automated testing), streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
