We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented SAP Support Consultant - Authorization to join our global Authorization support team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing second-level support for SAP authorizations, ensuring stable and reliable operations across the central SAP ERP systems of the Würth Group.
The position is strongly focused on support activities, including ticket handling, incident analysis, operational execution, troubleshooting, and user support. You will work closely with internal users, other support teams, and third-level experts to resolve issues efficiently and ensure sustainable solutions. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, structured, and experienced in handling SAP-related support requests in an international environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide second-level support in the area of SAP Authorizations for Würth Group companies worldwide.
* Handle and resolve support tickets, incidents, and user requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Analyze authorization-related issues, identify root causes, and perform troubleshooting to restore smooth operations.
* Execute day-to-day operational support tasks related to SAP user and authorization management.
* Support users with authorization questions and system access issues, ensuring a high level of service quality.
* Collaborate closely with other support teams and third-level experts to ensure efficient and sustainable issue resolution.
* Document incidents, solutions, and support procedures to contribute to continuous process improvement.
* Ensure compliance with Würth Group standards, policies, and security requirements in authorization-related activities.
* Coordinate with relevant internal functions when needed to support operational and compliance-related topics.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in SAP, with a focus on Authorizations .
* Proven experience in SAP support, especially in second-level support and ticket processing .
* Solid understanding of SAP authorization concepts and user support processes.
* Experience in incident handling, operational execution, and troubleshooting .
* Basic ABAP skills are an advantage.
* Knowledge of authorization structures in SAP FI and/or SAP HR is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and a collaborative way of working.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of an international team.
* Proficiency in English ; German is an advantage.
