We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Research Analyst to join our Tax & Regulations team.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain up-to-date awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions.
* Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
* Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
SAP GTS Alignment
* Research and provide insights relevant to SAP GTS (v11 or similar), supporting product specialists on topics such as:
* Export Control & Licensing
* Import Control & Market Access
* Sanctions & Restricted Party Compliance
* Customs & Tariff Management
* Trade Agreements & Origin Management
* Regulatory Reporting & Declarations
* Product & Classification Compliance
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex information, and effective communication skills. A working knowledge of SAP GTS or similar trade compliance systems is also essential.
The successful candidate will have experience in tax, global trade, or international regulatory research, preferably with a focus on LATAM and North America. Additionally, proficiency in English and one additional LATAM language (Spanish or Portuguese) is required.
Must-Have Qualifications
* Bilingual: English + one LATAM language (Spanish or Portuguese).
* 5+ years of professional experience in tax, global trade, or international regulatory research.
* Working knowledge of SAP GTS or similar trade compliance systems.
* Familiarity with international trade laws and frameworks (EAR, ITAR, EU Dual Use, WCO, etc.).
