We are looking for a Geotechnical Consultant I to support the analysis and interpretation of geotechnical and hydrological data for infrastructure, mining and environmental projects.
This professional will be responsible for compiling and analyzing field and laboratory data (CPTu, SPT, triaxial, consolidation, rheological, pluviometric and fluviometric), defining input parameters for computational models, and developing analyses such as slope stability, seepage and flow modeling.
Key responsibilities also include geotechnical instrumentation, data analysis, geological and geotechnical modeling based on field and laboratory investigations, and the development of maps using GIS tools.
The role requires strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Excel (advanced), AutoCAD, and experience with geotechnical analysis software (e.g., slope stability and finite element tools). Knowledge in GIS platforms (QGIS), programming (Python or VBA), and geological modeling tools (e.g., Leapfrog) are considered a plus.
This position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the ability to translate complex technical data into clear engineering insights.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in: Civil Engineering, or Geological Engineering, Geology, Mining Engineering, or related fields.
* Previous experience in geotechnics and/or hydrology.
* Up-Intermediate English.
