The law firm is known for providing its best to the clients by offering creative and strategic legal solutions. We are looking for the new team member, legal writer, to join our team. Responsibilities: Legal Brief & Petition Drafting: Preparing legal briefs, including personal statements, expert opinions, and supporting arguments. Engaging in extensive drafting, developing persuasive and well-structured arguments tailored to each case. Case Strategy & Implementation: Collaborating with senior legal specialists and U.S. attorneys to understand and execute case strategy effectively. Ensuring that all legal arguments align with case objectives and meet the highest professional standards. Legal Research & Analysis: Conducting in-depth legal research to identify relevant statutes, judicial decisions, and immigration regulations Staying up to date with evolving immigration laws and policy changes to ensure compliance and accuracy. Be creative in drafting – must have Document Review Reviewing client-provided documentation, identifying missing materials Ensuring petitions are fully prepared in advance for mid and final attorney reviews, facilitating timely submission. Attorney Support & Quality Assurance: Assisting attorneys in case preparation, including gathering supporting documents, drafting legal arguments, and compiling evidence. Collaborating with team members to enhance the accuracy, clarity, and persuasiveness of all written materials. Requirements: · Excellent grammar, spelling, and written English composition skills is a must. · B.A. Degree in Law or Political Sciences or English studies student or graduate. · Previous legal or immigration writing experience preferred. · Extraordinary research and creative writing skills in English. · High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent proofreading skills. · Strong organizational skills; ability to work under pressure, work within competing deadlines, and prioritize workload effectively. · Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly learn new applications.
