Senior ServiceNow ITOM Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow ITOM Developer with extensive experience in IT service management to lead the development and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CMDB, Discovery, Integrations, and related IT service management modules. The role requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Implement Complex Solutions: Develop and implement complex ServiceNow ITOM solutions including CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
2. Configure and Customize ServiceNow Applications: Experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules.
3. Lead Development of Integrations: Lead development of integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
4. Collaborate and Translate Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
5. Mentor Junior Developers: Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
6. Ensure Best Practices: Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
7. Provide Solutions and Facilitate Code Reuse: Provide solutions that utilize most out-of-the-box features without requiring customizations, facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns, influence common modeling, design, and coding practices.
8. Perform Upgrade Testing: Perform upgrade testing by validating customizations, configurations, and integrations across major and minor ServiceNow releases.
9. Develop Automated Test Frameworks: Develop and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites to validate core ServiceNow functionalities, ensuring stability and reducing manual regression efforts.
10. Troubleshoot and Resolve Platform Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
11. Maintain Documentation: Maintain documentation for development and configuration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5-7 years of ServiceNow development experience with a focus on ITOM.
* Strong knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integrations.
* Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow scripting.
* Experience with automation and DevOps practices, familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD), code versioning tools such as Git, and Agile principles.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Experience with AI, Virtual Agent, Robot Process Automation (RPA).
