A leading multinational consumer goods company is undergoing a significant digital transformation and is seeking an exceptional Head of IT to lead its technology agenda across a large and complex operation.
The Role
The role will be responsible for advancing the company's technology and digital agenda, ensuring that IT operates as a true strategic enabler for the business. It sits within a matrixed global structure, requiring ongoing alignment with international leadership, active participation in global forums, and engagement in cross-regional reviews, audits, and initiatives. The mandate includes leading a sizeable team, strengthening governance, sustaining operational excellence, and preserving the momentum of an ongoing transformation. This is a first senior leadership seat fully dedicated to IT (though not positioned as C-level).
Key Responsibilities
The Head of IT will oversee a broad portfolio of technology functions and managers, promoting integration across business units and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This leader will act as a critical interface between local operations and global leadership, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and ensuring consistency with global standards.
Profile Requirements
We are seeking a senior IT executive with:
* A strong corporate background in large, complex and preferably multinational organizations.
* Experience operating in matrixed environments, with comfort navigating dual-reporting lines, cross-border alignment, and global governance.
* Proven ability to lead large teams and managers through transformation and scale.
* Strong business orientation, executive presence, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
* High emotional maturity and a leadership style that balances strategy, execution, and people development.
* Fluent, executive-level English which will be essential for day-to-day interaction with global teams, executive meetings, written communication, and participation in international audits and reviews.
