Mission of the Role Ensure efficient and agile support to vessels, guaranteeing the timely and cost-effective supply of spare parts, materials, and services. This role involves managing quotations and purchases as well as coordinating deliveries, always prioritizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and meeting deadlines. Main Responsibilities Support vessels in planning and replenishment of materials, aligning supply schedules. Send inquiries to suppliers, prepare quotations, and issue purchase orders (POs). Negotiate prices, lead times, and freight costs to optimize resources. Coordinate deliveries with forwarding agents, ship agents, and carriers, ensuring deadlines and compliance. Verify delivered goods, invoices, and orders to ensure compliance with specifications. Resolve discrepancies and handle claims with suppliers in cases of defects, delays, or shortages. Support the organization of routine services and specialized repairs for vessels, in contact with technical superintendents. Comply with corporate procurement policies, compliance, and audit requirements. Maintain up-to-date records in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), following each stage of the procurement process. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, Engineering, or related fields. Advanced or fluent English (spoken and written). Previous experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain (preferably in the maritime/offshore sector). Knowledge of supply chain processes and negotiation. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong analytical skills, proactivity, and results-oriented profile. Problem-solving ability in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
