Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and back‑end services in .NET Core/C#, Python, or Node.js across Azure, AWS, and other cloud environments.
Create and manage SQL and NoSQL data structures (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB) for complex workflows.
Build responsive, accessible front‑end components using React, Angular, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Implement DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code (YAML), monitoring and logging with Application Insights, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, or DataDog.
Apply security best practices, including IAM, OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, least‑privilege access, and compliance requirements (SOC2, HIPAA).
Guide and mentor teammates through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, UX, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Use AI‑powered aids (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Cursor) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Support microservices and event‑driven architectures using Service Bus, Azure Functions, Docker, Kubernetes, and message patterns (pub/sub, Kafka).
Develop unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure reliability and scalability.
Maintain documentation, technical specifications, and documentation for internal systems.
Required Qualifications
5+ years professional software development experience.
Extensive experience building backend services in .NET Core/C#, Python, or Node.js.
Deep knowledge of RESTful API design, JSON, and version control with Git.
Proficiency with SQL databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL) and document stores (Cosmos DB, DynamoDB).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).
Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit testing.
Excellent communication skills, teamwork, autonomy, and proactivity.
Fluent English communication (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js), TypeScript, and modern build tooling (Webpack, Vite).
Knowledge of event‑driven architecture, messaging systems (Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, Pub/Sub).
Experience with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and infrastructure‑as‑code.
Experience with AI‑API platforms (OpenAI) and AI‑assisted coding tools.
Understanding of monitoring and observability platforms (App Insights, CloudWatch, DataDog, OpenTelemetry).
Experience integrating with Microsoft Dataverse, Dynamics CE, Workday, or similar SaaS products.
Background in healthcare, staffing, HRIS, or e‑commerce platforms is advantageous.
Knowledge of GraphQL and React Native backend patterns.
