The role of a Partner Development Director involves playing a pivotal part in identifying, recruiting, and integrating new strategic partners into the organization's ecosystem. This is a highly visible individual contributor position requiring a blend of strategic thinking, relationship building, and execution excellence.
About the Role
 * Strategic Partner Sourcing & Identification: Proactively research, identify, and evaluate potential technology, content, and service partners that align with the organization's objectives and address emerging market needs within the sector.
 * End-to-End Partner Acquisition: Lead the partner acquisition lifecycle from initial outreach and qualification to compelling value proposition development, negotiation, and contract closure.
 * Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, executive-level relationships with prospective partners, effectively communicating the mutual benefits of a partnership.
 * Onboarding & Handoff: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new partners, setting them up for long-term success.
 * Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the sector to identify new partnership opportunities.
 * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, marketing, and legal teams to ensure partner solutions are aligned with the product roadmap, go-to-market strategies, and legal requirements.
 * Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners, managing evolving priorities and delivering on aggressive growth targets.
 * Value Articulation: Craft compelling partnership value propositions tailored to different partner segments and business models.
 * 10+ years of progressive experience in partner development, business development, alliance management, or strategic sales roles, with a proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex partnerships.
 * Demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, LegalTech, or professional services industries.
 * Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all organizational levels.
 * Proven ability to work autonomously as an individual contributor, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess market opportunities and partner fit.
 * Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, or related field.
