Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Culinary Leader to oversee our kitchen operations. As Chef Tournant, you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled culinary professionals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.
Your primary objective will be to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while promoting a culture of excellence within the kitchen team.
You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement menu concepts, train staff on new recipes and techniques, and maintain inventory levels to ensure seamless service.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of direct reports, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success
* Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
* Develop and implement menu concepts, including recipe development and ingredient sourcing
* Train staff on new recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency in execution
* Maintain inventory levels, monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary
* Work collaboratively with senior leadership to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior culinary leadership position, preferably in a upscale hotel or resort environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
* Proficiency in basic accounting principles, including cost control and budgeting
* A culinary school degree and relevant certifications (e.g., HACCP)
