About the Role GLO Marine is seeking an experienced Offshore Project Manager with a strong background in managing offshore support vessels or vessels servicing the offshore energy sector. This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role with clear responsibilities in both technical project management and relationship development. Your primary focus will be managing vessel retrofit and drydock projects end-to-end—from planning through execution. In parallel, you’ll support account development and client engagement efforts, helping to strengthen long-term relationships and identify future opportunities. Primary Responsibilities – Vessel & Drydock Management Lead the planning and execution of vessel upgrade projects, drydock and repair projects, acting as the main on-site representative throughout. Define and document work scopes, inspections, and survey items in coordination with clients, class, and ship staff. Manage day-to-day progress at the yard, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence. Coordinate with shipyards, suppliers, crew, and surveyors to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Monitor costs, timelines, and scope changes, keeping all stakeholders informed. Oversee testing, commissioning, and vessel handover upon project completion. Secondary Responsibilities – Client & Account Development Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients during project delivery and beyond, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and satisfaction. Identify potential follow-up work or new retrofit needs during project execution and coordinate internally to shape new proposals. Support sales efforts by presenting technical scopes, participating in client meetings, and providing input for pricing and quotations. Assist in preparing commercial offers, contract add-ons, and scope variations in collaboration with the commercial team. Contribute to the growth of strategic accounts through relationship-building, trust, and consistent delivery performance. Candidate Profile 5+ years’ experience in a superintendent, vessel manager, or technical project management role. Proven background managing drydocks and upgrades for offshore vessels (PSV, AHTS, MPSV, etc.). Strong understanding of class, flag state, and safety requirements. Comfortable in both technical environments (yards, vessels) and client meetings. Excellent communication and coordination skills; strong sense of ownership. Commercial awareness and interest in growing long-term client relationships. Willingness to travel for projects and site-based supervision. Why Join GLO Marine?
