Overview
The role of Information Technology Specialist is critical in supporting global IT infrastructure projects. This onsite position plays a key part in maintaining a solid and collaborative relationship with local business areas and other functions, supporting initiatives from global corporate IT teams and strategic business units (SBUs).
* Maintain relationships with local business areas and other functions, supporting global corporate IT teams and SBUs.
* Support and coordinate IT infrastructure projects, working with internal teams and external vendors.
* Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with IT tool and system use.
* Act as Level 3 support for identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring service continuity.
Responsibilities:
This position requires the acquisition, installation, configuration, and upgrade of hardware and software components, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
* Planning and managing responses to service interruptions and incidents, minimizing business impacts.
* Conducting training for users on new technologies, systems, and tools, promoting adoption and correct use.
* Documenting, tracking, and monitoring incidents and problems, ensuring resolution within deadlines.
* Participating in critical incident resolution and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* At least 7 years of experience in the area.
* Advanced English for working with international teams.
* Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
* Basic knowledge of Databases (SQL/Oracle) and Computer Networks (LAN/WAN).
