DescriptionSr HR Specialist at CooperVision is an employee facing role and provides a professional level of partnership to employees and managers. Works closely with Sr HR management in supporting LATAM function carrying out responsibilities in the following areas of Human Resources: employee relations, training, performance management, wage and salary administration, onboarding, policy implementation and interpretation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, employment law compliance and terminations. Provides high quality solutions to maintain an engaging and top-performing company culture.ResponsibilitiesDesign and lead the HR strategy in business partnership with the Sr. HR LATAM Manager, to support Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Recognition, Engagement, Organizational Design, Workforce Planning, and other HR-related competencies. Ensure alignment to regional and global HR strategies, as well as to local and federal regulatory requirements.Executes on the delivery of HR programs and services with partnership from our internal HR Centers of Expertise (Talent Management, Total Rewards, HR Technology) and corporate areas (ERG's, My Wellness, One Cooper Communications)Drive culture of positive engagement facilitating our employee survey, track results, give follow up to action plans and communicate and bring to life One Cooper best practices in the region.Implement compensation and benefits programs that support business objectives in accordance to corporate guidance and ensures that they are competitive and equitable, and are maintained to be accurate and current.Partner with the Sr. HR LATAM Manager to develop a strong talent strategy aligned with the business strategy.Guide people strategy tracking HR metrics in Brazil to improve decisions on workforce diversity, employee retention and talent acquisition.Manage HR budget and ensure budget follow-up along the fiscal year working with Finance and Brazil General ManagerProvide team guidance and leadership to People Managers. Initiate & manage individual and team coaching for development.Occasionally help to implement some HR programs and services in the region. HR operations processes – provide administrative support to accurately complete HR transactional processes.Guide and support employees and managers in system usage of My Cooper modules and functionality.Process governance/compliance – ensure all compliance transactions are fulfilled.Support recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding processes.Conduct HR data analysis (turnover, absenteeism, engagement, etc.) and propose corrective actions.Support leadership development and team training programs.Improves manager and employee performance by assisting with identification and clarification of issues, evaluation and implementation of potential solutions to managers and employeesAdvises supervisors, managers, and employees on consistent application of established policies and practices. Recommends and communicates policy changes or clarification as needed. Assists in development, implementation and communication of new or revised policies and procedures. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Stays abreast of changes in laws, case law, regulations, policies, and programs relevant to employee relations and employment practices.May assist in supporting the daily activities of recruitment, promotional opportunities, job postings, and placement. Coordinates requisition and posting process, job descriptions, interview scheduling.
