Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee our daily financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow tracking, and crypto/stablecoin fund movements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of stablecoins, blockchain-based payment flows, and operational risk management.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow tracking, and crypto/stablecoin fund movements.
* Liaising with accounting firms for bookkeeping, document preparation, SPED filings, and tax submissions (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS/COFINS, ISS).
* Maintaining detailed records of all virtual asset activities to ensure compliance with internal audit and legal standards.
* Collecting and organizing data for regulatory reporting to Receita Federal and the Central Bank of Brazil.
* Monitoring tax and foreign exchange compliance risks related to stablecoin-based transactions, and escalating issues as needed.
* Handling foreign exchange filings and reports for cross-border crypto transactions (e.g., RDE-IED, SISCOSERV).
* Assisting in interpreting local regulatory developments and aligning operational processes accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3+ years of experience in operations, financial operations, or crypto-related back-office roles, preferably in fintech or Web3 environments.
* Solid understanding of stablecoins, blockchain-based payment flows, and operational risk management.
* Familiarity with Brazilian financial reporting (SPED, Receita Federal, Central Bank) and tax compliance.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
* Fluency in Portuguese and English; proficiency in Spanish and Mandarin is a plus.
