**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE**
Application Foundation is looking for a Product Manager to further the mission of Harmonization of the Technology and Application Landscape. You will be instrumental in shaping the experience of developers internally and externally managing the development of AI use cases from conception to delivery together with several product teams, while ensuring alignment with company objectives. You will work closely with development and other central teams to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and align with our company goals. As a leader, you will represent and be accountable for the work of your teams to internal and external stakeholders to plan, prioritize, clearly define outcomes and measure results to iterate on. You will work together with the development leads, product owners, product managers, and development operations colleagues in your team and other teams to create value for our customers from start to finish.
We’re seeking a dynamic individual to champion our product vision both internally and externally. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of **product strategy, storytelling, and community building. You’ll be the voice of our product**—educating, inspiring, and engaging users, partners, and industry leaders.
**Your tasks include**:
- Product Advocacy: Pitch our App Foundation portfolio and product deep dives to internal and external stakeholders. Represent the product at conferences, webinars, podcasts, and online communities.
- Deliver executive-ready communication to senior leadership roles.
- Content Creation: Develop compelling content—blogs, videos, presentations, strong business value propositions, high quality product demos —that highlight product capabilities and use cases,
- Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and position the product as a category leader.
- Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with developers, customers, and partners.
- Build successful partnerships with BTP Component Teams, LoB Leads Lines of Business (such as Concur, Ariba S/4HANA Cloud, SFSF etc) product teams & the wider PM community to jointly shape the AppFND portfolio
- Support use case prioritization, staffing, commitments, and continuous overview of the development progress of new capabilities.
- Conduct thorough business value analysis, collect feedback, and shape the product roadmap proactively.
- Proven experience in product management, user experience, developer relations, or technical marketing.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
- Deep understanding of the product lifecycle and user-centered design.
- Comfortable speaking at public events and engaging with online communities.
- Passion for technology and innovation.
**WHAT YOU BRING**
- 10+ years of experience in Platform product management or engineering experience or Experience in open-source or developer-first, UX and growth marketing.
- Demonstrated outstanding experience in product management of enterprise software products and ability to build and maintain successful partnerships, fostering a sense of community among diverse stakeholders
- Outstanding leadership skills, including a track record of delivering C-level presentations
- Passion for good user experience from buy to renew.
- Experience and passion for measuring adoption and defining success KPIs and getting the job done.
- Fluent English language skills, spoken and written.
