Field Service Technician is responsible for providing installation support, maintenance, and repair on 2-3 groups of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, and optical (basic) instruments, ensuring customer satisfaction.
This position reports to the Service Manager Latam and is part of the Service Department located in São Paulo/Capital. It will be remote and cover the Latam region.
In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Provide installation support, field actions, maintenance, and repair on 2-3 groups of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, and optical (basic) instruments. Manage spare parts responsibly to maximize customer uptime and service metrics.
* Provide technical support for sales, application, and quality to contribute to strategic goals and financial targets by delivering excellent field services.
* Understand complex system operations, document troubleshooting processes, and adhere to policies efficiently.
The essential requirements of the job include:
1. Education: Bachelor's or Technical Degree
2. Experience: Experience with life science devices, medical devices, or related industries. Strong technical skills with the ability to understand complex systems and troubleshooting.
* Languages: Portuguese & English (Advanced) mandatory; Spanish (Intermediate) desirable.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
* Ability to travel >80%, including occasional overnight and international travel. Must maintain a flexible schedule with short notice.
* Valid driver's license and passport required.
* Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment.
