We are partnering with an innovative international fintech company to hire a Senior Software Engineer to help build the core infrastructure powering private capital markets.
This is a highly strategic engineering role for professionals who enjoy solving complex backend and platform challenges in regulated environments. The company operates at the intersection of fintech, compliance, payments, and transaction infrastructure, building products that support broker-dealer operations, deal management, and payment/escrow workflows.
The ideal candidate combines strong backend engineering expertise with experience building scalable, production-grade systems in financial services, banking, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
* Contribute to architecture decisions and platform scalability initiatives
* Develop secure and reliable systems for financial and transaction-related workflows
* Work closely with cross-functional teams across product and engineering
* Improve system reliability, testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes
* Participate in technical discussions and mentor other engineers when needed
* Help evolve a modern engineering culture focused on quality and ownership
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
* Strong backend development expertise with Node.js and TypeScript
* Experience designing APIs and scalable backend architectures
* Solid knowledge of relational databases and data modeling
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing, and production deployments
* Professional English communication skills (written fluency required)
* Experience working in regulated industries such as fintech, banking, insurance, or payments

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with fintech, broker-dealer, or financial compliance systems
* Familiarity with payment processing, escrow systems, reconciliation, or transaction ledgers
* Knowledge of financial regulatory environments such as FINRA, SEC, BACEN, CVM, PIX, or Open Banking
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
* Experience mentoring junior engineers
* Exposure to M&A platforms, virtual data rooms (VDR), or capital markets infrastructure
