Fluency in Portuguese (written and verbal) is essential. Your mission is to protect our customers and Wise by reporting suspicious activity.We are passionate about financial crime risk and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing fintech environment.ResponsibilitiesReview and analyse customer accounts and transaction patterns for unusual or suspicious activity; identify red flags related to money laundering, fraud, or other financial crimes.Draft and submit Suspicious Activity Reports, ensuring all details are documented and compliant with regulatory requirements.Stay up-to-date on financial crime regulations, laws, regional best practices, and reporting requirements.Safeguard confidential information; handle all reports and documentation with confidentiality and integrity.Participate in training and remain knowledgeable about emerging trends and tools in financial crime detection.QualificationsLanguage Skills: Fluency in Portuguese and English with excellent writing and speaking abilities in both languages.Experience: Prior experience in AML, fraud detection, or related financial crime fields is a plus but not required; highly detail-oriented and eager to learn candidates are welcome.Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to handle routine tasks with high accuracy and maintain consistency under pressure.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial transactions, identify patterns, and make informed risk-based decisions.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for drafting clear, detailed reports.Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities with precision.Ethical Integrity: Understanding of confidentiality and ethical considerations in financial crime investigations.How to applyPlease apply by submitting your CV in English (PDF) along with a cover letter.
