Position: Commissioning Coordinator We are now looking for a Commissioning Coordinator to join our Project team in Itajaí/SC, Brazil. In this role, you will report to the Manager Construction Sites 2 within Wärtsilä and to the Project Manager. Your responsibility will include coordinating commissioning activities (planning, organization, and coordination) between the shipyard, customer, site installation team, and engineering team. Please submit resumes in English. Main Activities: Prepare commissioning plans with an emphasis on controlling the schedule of assigned services. Support the smooth execution of planned activities. Assist team leadership. Ensure customer satisfaction, both externally and internally. Ensure all process-related requirements are executed with quality, in accordance with rules and within established deadlines. Serve as the main contact point for commissioning engineers, site commissioning team, Wärtsilä’s site installation team, shipyard, customer, and subcontractors for activities related to Wärtsilä’s scope of supply. Qualifications and Skills: Electrical engineer with approximately 5 years of relevant experience in complex projects. Knowledge of shipbuilding, especially in power distribution and alarm systems, is advantageous. Experience with electrotechnical installations on ships or similar, such as power generation and distribution. Experience in planning commissioning procedures. Knowledge of electrotechnical installation procedures and regulations (e.g., DNV classification society). Occupational safety and HSE awareness. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Leadership, initiative, and independence. Strong understanding of complex processes. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
