Backend Software Developer Opportunity
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer who excels in C#/.NET and has a strong focus on writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code. You will play a key role in shaping architecture, ensuring system performance, and embedding best practices while working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
This is a 100% remote, full-time opportunity to develop and maintain applications, shape system architecture, write quality code, support production systems, collaborate across teams, and focus on security and compliance.
* Develop and Maintain Applications: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET and integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime.
* Shape System Architecture: Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications.
* Write Quality Code: Implement and test maintainable, well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices.
* Support Production Systems: Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams, while mentoring junior engineers.
* Focus on Security and Compliance: Embed security best practices and maintain compliance with FinTech regulations.
Requirements
* Strong Technical Expertise: Solid foundation in design patterns, software development best practices, and principles like SOLID and Clean Code.
* Proficiency in C#/.NET: Proficient in C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs).
* Familiarity with Databases: Strong understanding of MSSQL database design and optimization.
* Asynchronous Microservices: Familiarity with asynchronous microservices architecture and distributed systems.
* Modern Front-end and Server-side Technologies: Experience with modern front-end and server-side technologies such as Node.js and React.
