Job Role : Part-Time Print Graphic Designer (contractor role)
We are seeking a Print Designer to join our Creative Team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing prints, colors, trims, waistbands, and other items aligned with the brand’s aesthetics and business needs.
Core Responsibilities
* Assist the design team in developing prints, colors, trims, waistbands, and other items consistent with the brand’s aesthetics and business requirements.
* Prepare trend presentations, mood boards, and conduct market research.
* Set up and update design presentation boards as needed.
* Research market trends through periodicals, magazines, and online resources to stay current.
* Contribute to seasonal development by creating original artwork and layouts under the guidance of the VP of Brand.
* Conduct color and print research and sourcing.
* Assist with print design and development, including recoloring, indexing, and submissions.
* Collaborate with Fashion Design, VP of Brand, Data Team, Merchandising, Fabric Technologists, QC, and Operations teams.
* Create and update collection and campaign decks.
* Develop color and print CAD sketches.
* Maintain Illustrator CAD bank with technical drawings and colored images for merchandising.
* Create and review 3D renderings via Clo3D for product releases.
* Ensure CAD sheets and merchandising/line plans are accurate and up-to-date.
* Partner with teams to merchandise limited edition packs per collection.
What do you need to succeed :
* Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Design or related field
* 3-4+ years of experience
* Experience in the Intimates, Contemporary, or Luxury markets preferred.
* Creative and proactive with the ability to interpret seasonal concepts.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
* Proficiency in color-matching tools and techniques.
* Understanding of apparel print processes and print industry technology.
* Proficiency in Clo3D.
* Knowledge of color systems, including Pantone.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is required for communication with teams and documentation.
