Podcast Production Workflow Management
Our podcast team is seeking a highly skilled Podcast Producer to manage the end-to-end production workflow.
1. Guest Communication & Outreach:
1. We require an individual who can effectively communicate with guests from initial outreach to post-episode follow-up, scheduling interviews and sending confirmations/reminders.
2. This includes collecting bios, headshots, books, links, and required release forms.
2. Episode Planning & Production:
1. The ideal candidate will prepare episode briefs and host prep sheets, attend live recordings (optional but preferred) to track timestamps and notes.
2. Review raw audio/video and provide clear, detailed edit notes to the editor.
3. Editing Coordination:
1. Send the editor cut notes that are clear, accurate, and time-stamped, and review first edits for quality before publishing.
4. Publishing & Show Management:
1. Write compelling show notes, descriptions, summaries, and timestamps, and prepare publishing assets (titles, tags, categories, episode artwork if needed).
5. Marketing & Promotion Support:
1. Coordinate with our social media team to deliver clips, quotes, and captions, and identify promotional opportunities through guests' audiences.
6. Monetization & Growth:
1. Assist in creating sponsorship decks and packages, and research relevant brand partners to pitch.
