Delivery Manager Job Description
As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects to key customers across various technological tracks.
* Ensure timely project completion within budget and scope by collaborating with technology teams.
* Work closely with customer stakeholders to understand project scope and document it according to defined standards.
* Lead teams across technologies, fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes productivity.
* Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure quality control procedures meet high standards in delivery.
* Act as a point of contact for customers, understanding their needs, managing expectations, and ensuring highest customer satisfaction.
* Conduct regular review meetings with customers and management.
* Adopt customer-specific processes and methodologies to enhance project delivery.
* Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks effectively.
* Ensure project teams meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and avoid service penalties.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies, and best practices.
* Utilize effective conflict resolution and negotiation tactics to maintain high performance within service teams.
* Establish and monitor Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for team members.
* Support hiring the right resources for various tracks by working with Technology Adoption Groups (TAGs).
* Ensure Statements of Work (SOWs) are signed and invoices cleared on-time by collaborating with finance teams and customer stakeholders.
* Regularly work with individual team members to ensure their contributions are visible to customers in terms of activities/stories/Jira Tickets.
