Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (Transportation & Shipping)
Type: Full-Time (CST 9 am-5 pm; 40 hours/week)

Role Overview: Our client company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring system data is accurate and up to date. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong data entry skills, and can communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support daily operations and customer requirements
* Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers; confirm appointments and shipment details
* Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels, shipping confirmations, etc.)
* Track shipments, monitor delivery timelines, and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies
* Perform accurate data entry across systems (TMS, WMS, ERP, spreadsheets) and maintain shipment records
* Communicate with warehouse, customer service, purchasing, and transportation partners to ensure smooth operations
* Assist with shipping and inventory-related reporting (status updates, tracking logs, daily summaries, exceptions)
* Identify recurring shipping issues and support process improvements
* Maintain professionalism when working with drivers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, transportation coordination, or related operations
* Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Comfortable working across multiple systems and managing shipment data
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic Microsoft Office tools
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to remain calm under pressure
* Team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines
