2. The ideal candidate will play a central role in crafting compelling brand narratives, securing earned media coverage, creating and posting engaging social and video content, managing community engagement and brand reputation, and driving awareness for a diverse portfolio of consumer products.

3. A strong English speaker and strategic communicator, this person must be able to write press materials, design social content, produce and edit videos (YouTube), engage with online communities, build relationships with media and influencers, and monitor brand sentiment across platforms.

Key Responsibilities include developing and distributing press releases for product/feature launches, partnerships, and company milestones, proactively pitching to journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure earned media coverage, building and maintaining strong relationships with media contacts, identifying timely PR opportunities across product categories, and monitoring industry trends and media coverage to inform outreach strategies.

Additionally, this role involves tracking brand sentiment across media, social platforms, and app stores, leading crisis communication and rapid-response strategies when needed, collaborating with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues or harmful content, encouraging positive user reviews and managing feedback loops across platforms.

The successful candidate will own day-to-day social media posting for multiple products, including content calendar management, design engaging graphics, write compelling copy, and produce short-form videos, create and edit YouTube videos, including tutorials, promos, and brand storytelling content, respond to comments and DMs across platforms to build and maintain community engagement, measure performance (KPIs, engagement, growth) and optimize content strategy, identify, recruit, and manage influencer and creator partnerships, plan influencer campaigns aligned with product and brand goals, and track results.

Drafting and sharing company announcements, leadership content, and blog posts, keeping internal Slack channels updated with press releases, media coverage, and key milestones, crafting messaging for executive interviews, public speaking, and media appearances, ensuring consistency and brand alignment in all public-facing communications are also essential responsibilities.

8. To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess 2+ years of experience in PR, communications, media relations, or brand marketing, experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content, strong English proficiency and storytelling skills across formats, proven ability to secure media coverage and build press relationships, solid understanding of brand reputation management and crisis comms, experience with influencer discovery, collaboration, and campaign execution, experience creating and editing YouTube videos (product walkthroughs, educational content, social video), proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut, SEO and ASO understanding, experience with mobile apps or tech brands, and strong analytical skills for social and PR performance reporting.
